Thought Process:
For one of the assignments this week, we were tasked with designing a wedding anniversary announcements. I figured I could tweak it a little bit and make a wedding announcement for my sister.
Design Process:
Following along with the original assignment, I started with a background color and added texture. Then, instead of adding the original photo for the assignment, I used one that I took of Anyssa and Alex. I faded the picture out and added a quick mask so I could erase the top a little bit. I also changed the coloring up a little bit so it didn't fade into the page so much. I then added the larger butterfly, faded it, and added a slight color tint so it blended into the page a bit. After that, I put the small butterfly on there and faded it a tiny bit so it wasn't so loud. Then lastly, I added the text!
Revision:
There wasn't anything that needed to be revised with this one.
- Different blend modes
- Free transform
- Opacity change
- Quick mask
- Effects - drop shadow
